VA Beach

630x355 (3)

I’m having some trouble getting myself into work stuff today. I’ve put a good bit of time in this week, and I’m tired.

But when I saw an article on Virginia Beach I knew this was what I would write about. When I was growing up, my favorite aunt lived in Virginia Beach, VA Beach as we liked to call it. My sister and I got to go up and stay with my aunt and her family without our parents. Those are among my favorite memories growing u. My aunt has always been one to spoil me, cooking my favorite meals, taking me swimming and other fun things.

But we’re not here to discuss my memories, we’re here to discuss travel. I think the most “touristy” thing we did was go to the beach one day while we were visiting. The city has more than two hundred parks. This is historically one of the most beloved beaches in the nation.

Beyond the beaches themselves, there are accommodations to fit every budget. There is an airport and public transportation. You will have some great dining options, especially if you love seafood… Let me know if you are interested in going.

Lesser known attractions in Orlando

It’s Thursday, and I’m kind of feeling like that little engine, “I think I can, I think I can”. There is so much I want to do, but I’m getting tired. Anyway, we’ll just see how everything goes.

Have you thought about your summer vacation yet? I’ll be more than happy to help you do the research and plan something. Please just let me know… But maybe some of you are starting to plan and are considering going to Orlando.. Let me start by saying I love working with Disney, they’re an awesome team to work with.. And I have to be honest, booking trips is how I make money, and unfortunately that’s something I have little experience with as of yet, but hopefully that will start picking up.

But maybe you have a week of vacation. You do want to go to Disney, but hope to do some other things as well.. I’d suggest doing Disney first and then doing something more relaxing at the end of your time so you will not return home exhausted… Gatorland might be an option for you. This is a much smaller amusement park where you can see all kinds of gators. You will also find a petting zoo, animal shows and a zip line.

There is also a dinner show in Orlando which features pirates. There are six ships in which you will be seated and served fine food. Each ship has a pirate they cheer for. But be warned, there are some loud noises as well as some fire in these shows.

I would love to help you plan a trip to Orlando. Please let me know if you are interested.

Hard Rock coming to Los Cabos

There are so many things I want to be to be doing with the business, and I have my meeting tonight. So I had better get started.. I am thinking through a lot of things with this business, I’ll let you know more as I go along.

I must confess that I did not know that Hard Rock was in the all inclusive resort business.. I have a whole lot I need to know, both as far as destinations and in marketing my business. I’m trying to work on Both some each day. It’s a good thing I really enjoy my work.. But anyway, back to Hard Rock. It is opening an all inclusive resort sometime next year hopefully. The resort will be built in the exclusive Diamante Cabos San Lucas area. This area  is also home to two very nice golf courses.

Hard Rock has yet to give out many details about the resort yet. But we know that it is going to bea luxury resort that will cater to adventurers. It will, of course, have the music ,memorabilia, the Rock Spa, a fitness area, as well as several pools for you to enjoy.

I’m not sure when this property. But if you’re interested, please let me know and I can try to find out.

Hostels better than hotels?

630x355 (5)

I have so much I want to do it isn’t funny. I’m trying to learn more about destinations as well as how to build my business. Thankfully I’m up and ready to go pretty early which always helps.

Anyway, today let’s look at some of the benefits of hostels… First, most hostels have decorations, and artwork, more like you would find in a home than a hotel. You can also usually find large bulletin boards, listing all the activities that are available in the area, giving you plenty of option of things you and your family can do. Hostels are also pretty unique, allowing you to make even more memories of your vacation.

People who stay in hostels are usually more adventurous. You are also more likely to form friendships with their fellow travelers in a hostels. Most hostels have more communal dining which fosters new relationships for sure. And getting to know others is likely to open up new opportunities for you.

Hostels are also economical. In some places, you can stay for as little as five dollars if you are willing to bunk with others for as little as fifteen dollars, you can get a privateroom. You will also want to ask which meals are provided with the cost of the room. Please let me know if you have questions.

The best luxury destination of 2015

This weekend was great. It was really nice to spend some time with family. And I got to eat out a couple of times which I always enjoy.. But now that I have a communication device that works really well, I’m ready to get serious about this business and figure some things out. But first to get this done for the day.

I couldn’t find the article I was working on Friday, so let’s look at some luxury destinations today… The first country on the list is Argentina. This country will appeal to adventurers and romantics alike. The people of Argentina love living life to the fullest. And because of the way their economy is right now, luxury is more affordable to those that are traveling to that country. You don’t have to go to their capital, Buenos Aires to find some great deals on luxury… If you are interested in Argentina, please contact me. I can help you figure out what you want to do there and where you should go.

Nicaguara is fairly new to the luxury scene, but they are working toward changing that this year. This country has a lot of protected parks where you can see beautiful mountains and lakes. You can also explore volcanoes that are in this country… If you are interested in hearing more about either of these destinations, please let me know.

Travel resolutions, anyone?

630x355 (3)

I had to go to an appointment about a new wheelchair this morning. And at lunch I heard that some of my siblings might be coming into town this weekend. So I’m trying to hurry and get me things done in case they come and we get busy doing things as a family.

Now, why am I writing on travel resolutions now instead of at the very beginning of the year? First, I saw an article today and think I can easily turn it into a blog post, or maybe more than one. Second, the dust of the holiday rush has probably settled by now, and people may be figuring out what their year is actually going to be like.

The first adventure the article suggests is an African Safari… I have some friends that have gone on a tour in Africa, and they said that it was absolutely amazing because you were up close with animals you only see in the zoo or on tv in America… The article says that a safari is good for any age or condition you might be in. Africa has a range of accommodations guests can stay in.

We are going to look at this more on Monday. Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Disney turns sixty! #2

I have so much I want to do everywhere I turn. But I love my job and don’t mind having lots to do at all. My biggest problem right now is figuring out what to do… And I have a little cold, which isn’t bad.

But anyway, let’s get back to Disneyland’s sixtieth which is in July. Much the park, includIng Sleeping Beauty’s castle, will be decorated in all kinds of diamonds. If you have ever dreamed of taking your children to Disneyland, or going yourself, this may be your perfect opportunity to go.

The news article I am reading takes another turn. Apparently, Disney has been in the news lately due to an outbreak of the measles. It could have happened to any amusement park. reading more about this, measles is spreading across California, and the Disney outbreak is at Disneyland. The park has almost thirty thousand employees, which is kind of amazing in and of itself. A very small percentage of the employees have tested positive for the disease, but Disney is taking precautionary measures. Measles is prevented by and large through vaccinations. So if you haven’t had the vaccination you will want to be especially careful.

I must confess that I love working with Disney and hope to book many more trips with them. Please me know if you are interested

Disneyland is turning sixty! #1

I got my loaner communication device yesterday afternoon as it was time to eat and get to my group meeting. So this morning I’m beginning the process of getting to everything I haven’t been able to get to in a while. But I do want to get this done today, so I am going to do this before getting any farther.

Disneyland, which is Disney’s original theme park, is turning sixty years old this year. The main celebration is going to take place in July, but they are going to have a kickoff celebration on May twenty-second.

To celebrate being open fifty year, they are going to do some nighttime celebrations. First there will be an evening parade called “Paint the Night”, which will feature more than a million lights. There will also be a fireworks display that will be able to be seen throughout the park, and they will play Disney music throughout the show too. There will also be a sound and light show called “World of Color– Celebrate”, which will be totally new for this celebration.

I am going to stop here for now and get back to this tomorrow probably. I am going to try to figure out some other things.

Viking in France #2

Another day, another blog post. I am glad to “have to do” this each day. Right now, it makes me feel like I am accomplishing something workwise eah day. It aalso keeps me from being so bored. And I do apologize if I am boring you. Things will get back to normal, I promise.

Let’s get back to looking at what Viking does in France. On your fifth full day you will go to Les Andelys to visit the Chateau Gaillard, which is a ruined castle. That evening you will arrive in Conflans in time to enjoy a stroll along the river. The next day you will either take a guided city tour, or explore the Palace of Versailles, which is where all the King Louises spent their reigns, it looks like. You will be returning to Paris that evening. You will have the option of taking a city tor that evening. The next day you will be transferred to another ship.

Let’s look at some of the cultural experiences Viking has to offer in France. If you so choose, you will be able to taste and learn about different cheeses and wines. You can see how silk printing is done today. There will be lectures on Joan of Arc and French impressionist artists. You will be able to explore a local market and take in a French concert.

Please let me know if you would be interested in a Viking cruise. I would be more than willing to help you out.

Viking in France #1

Monday… This weekend was nice, nothing too exciting. My loaner device should arrive any time this week.. I would love it to be today, or yesterday even.. Sighs, I am truly grateful to have the set up that I do right now, but my days ar getting longer. Honestly, e-mail is one of my biggest means of communication, and right now I can’t write any email or send messages on Facebok… Anyway, let’s get on to business.

Today, let’s look at what Viking does in France. You will be getting on board in Paris. Viking’s standard is to meet you at the airport and take you to the ship. All your meals are included in the price of the cruise. There will be a bottle of champagne in your room once you arrive. Viking has free internet on all of their ships, though the speed does vary along different parts of the trip. You will be attending a captain’s dinner at the beginning and the end of your cruise.

You will spend your first full d day in Paris, taking a tour of the city. If you want more time in the “City of Lights” feel free to ask me about a pre cruise tour. The second day you will get to see Monet’s gardens in Giverny that morning, and in the afternoon you will tour a small town called Vernon. On the third day, you will visit Rouen where you will visit a Medieval city as well as tour their markets. You will be staying in Rouyen a second day to do a tour of Normandy Beach.

We are going to pick this back up tomorrow. Let me know if you have any questions.
