Shanghai anyone?

I know it’s Saturday. But I’ve done personal e-mail, and now I’m hoping to get to get some work stuff done.

Today let’s take a look at Shanhai. If anyone is interested in going to China, Shanghai is one of the places most people would like to go. It is a very y large city which has quite a mix of Chinese and American culture. There is a mix of very nice hotels as well as hostels depending on your taste and budget. However, you might want to take a look at what hotels actually cost. I’ve heard some things in China can be quite inexpensive.

You are going to find most any cuisine that you are in the mood for in this city. They have a lot of streetvendors you will want to try. The food they are most famous for is their noodles..

It’s Friday, and I am going to try to do this.. I don’t have too much on my mind.. My business is going okay. Keeping busy. Still kind of waiting for my big break or whatever. I’m still writing some fiction most days. I don’t see myself publishing anything. But somehow I still enjoy writing. I’ll be honest, nothing about Halloween excites me at all.. I’ve never liked anything nything scary. And I don’t like witches or goblins or anything like that.. The best part about that holiday is that once it’s over, it will be  time for the real holidays to start. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas because it’s time we’ll gather with family and friends. I think we’re about to start watching a movie. That’s a pretty normal ormal thing for us to do on a Friday night. I’m ready to be away from the computer for a while. Usually feel this way on Fridays.

River cruising is not just for older people

It is Friday, and part of me just wants to get the more necessary things over over and done with. There’s so much I could be doing, but my family has some other things we’re planning to do this weekend.. And that includes going to the theater, something that is very rare for us.

River cruising is kind of a hot topic in the industry. But up to this point, the majority of river cruisers are those that are older. They’re usually retired, and usually this is something people wouldn’t want to take children with them on these trips. Sure, river cruises are done at a slower pace. River cruises feature exexcellent dining experiences which older people love. But, don’t younger people enjoy fine dining too? River cruises offer a lot of educational and cultural experiences. Again, don’t young people enjoy those things just as much as older people?

But the hopeful news is Disney is going to be starting to offer river cruises. And everyone knows that Disney’s market is families.. Hopefully we are going to get more details on what exactly they are offering in the coming weeks.

More romantic getaways

I am going to try to do the necessary things today. My family has some things going on this afternoon. It would have been nice to get up early, but that did not happen. I’m actually a lot later starting than usual. But anyway..

St James Club Morgan Bay is one of the most popular resorts in the Caribbean. Now if you are looking for a romantic getaway, you may want to think carefully, and maybe ask your friendly travel agent some questions, because this is a very family friendly resort. But it is built in one of St Lucia’s most beautiful areas. This is an all inclusive resort which is on a beautiful beach. There are several different pools for you to enjoy, and they have five bars you can choose from.

Palm Island Resort and Spa is on A private island which is rated among the best places to stay. This is also known as one of the most romantic resorts in the world. There are no telephones or televisions in this place, added to the secluded feel. But you can bike, hike, or sail at this place. And of course, there are beautiful beaches to to enjoy here.

Romantic getaways in the Caribbean

Today let’s look at some romantic getaways in the Caribbean. And we are going to start with Galley Bay Resort and Spa which is in Antigua.  The property is in a secluded area that has a long stretch of beautiful beach that is perfect for romance. Those couples looking for utmost privacy will enjoy the bungalows that come complete with a pool. When relaxing on the beach, they have drink carts that will come to you. There are all kinds of activities that you can participate in in at this resort. You will find this place to be like a country club in many ways.

Club Barbados is an adults-only resort. And again this place has a very intimate feel to it. You can walk through their beautiful gardens. There are three pools, lots of beautiful walkways, and two restaurantsyou can enjoy. Let me know if you would like to know more about these places.

Cities you don’t want to miss

rxThe holidays are coming!  The holidays are coming!  I love this time of year. Well, I will be glad to have this Saturday over with.. Anyway, I don’t know exactly what we are going to be doing for the holidays, but I know I am going to take some time off around Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will say more once I know more.. But anyway, enough daydreaming, it’s time to get to work.

There are certain countries and cities that a lot of people have on their bucket lists. And a lot of times you will get strange looks when you say you have visited a certain country, but did not visit the most ,popular cities. But some people like to take the road less traveled. If you are one of these, you’ll want to read today’s post. The first city we are going to look at today is Danang, Vietnam. Now this is a place that is well known to people in Southeast Asia, and is a populardestination in that part of the world. They are known for having fantastic beaches, wonderful restaurants, and great hotels. There is plenty to keep you busy for several days.

More quick getaway ideas

It’s Monday, and as usual I’m starting much later than I would have liked. I had a really nice weekend, and having many things I want to do, both with work and personally. I’m not sure what all I am going to do, but obviously this needs to be done. I must confess that I am feeling seriously distracted by all kinds of things. But let’s get started anyway.

The first place we are going to look at today is in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We used to live near there, and it is truly a gorgeous place to visit this time of year. It is a great time to go on a hike to look at the trees in all their fall splendor. But when you are tired of that, there is a great resort called Buckberry Creek Lodge. They have a spa where people will be happy to massage away any sore spots from your hikes. They also have a nice restaurant, and everyone knows how people can work up an appetite when they are outside a lot.

The article I’m reading says that Lake Placid, New York is a great place to visit in the fall. They have several great resorts here.. But we are going to go with High Peaks Resort. This place is close enough to the downtown area to get back and forth. And we all know that there is plenty to do downtown.. This resort has a spa, pool, and fitness center.. Perfect places to go on a whim

It’s Saturday, and has kind of turned out differently than I’d thought. Thought I would have more time to work. But anyway, I am going to get some things done now.

rHave you ever had a weekend where you had nothing planned and decided Friday afternoon to just get away that weekend. Maybe it’s you and your spouse, or maybe it’s you and a couple of good friends. Either way, you decide to leave everything and go play for the weekend.. The first place we are going to discuss today is called Madeline Hotels and Residences, and is locate in Telluride, Colorado. Yes, it is a great place to go skiing. However, this hotel sounds beautiful incredible whenever you have a chance to go. You can get fireplaces in your room. There are breathtaking mountain views. You will have a large soaking tub, and you can even get what is called a bath barista who will prepare a bath just the way you like it. And another interesting thing is that the town’s only Starbucks is located inside this hotel.

I think we are going to look at this more on Monday. Let me know your thoughts.

Norwegian’s Epic

I’m debating about doing this tomorrow. I usually try to do some work on Saturdays, unless I have things to do with friends. I’m actually not sure what tomorrow holds for me. So we’ll see what happens.

Anyway, like I’ve said before, October is a month everyone tries to push cruises. I’m getting a lot of e-mails about cruise specials, and that is on everything from the least expensive to the most luxurious. Please let me know if you would be interested in hearing more about these deals. I would be more than happy to share.. And by the way, I was mostly catching up on e-mail yesterday, but today Norwegian’s Epic who has recently gone through some upgrades.

If you are a Beatles’ fan, you are going to love that Norwegian has added a new club called The Cavern that is pretty close to the original. For those that don’t know, The Cavern is where the Beatles first became popular. They are going to add at least one new Broadway style show that will include a lot of oldies.. They’ve added a mini golf course that also has some water park elements in the kids section. Many of the restaurants on this ship have been given a new look.

More things to bring on your hotel stay

It’s Thursday, and I kind of wish it was Monday. I just have a lot I want to do. And tonight our local pregnancy center is having their gala, and I am going. So I’ve got to get some things done..

You may want to consider bringing earplugs on your next hotel stay. And this is especially true if you are staying at a less expensive hotel. The nicer hotels seem to be better sound proofed, and the people staying there are likely more aware to be considerate to others. Nicer hotels are also more likely to be away from busy highways. You might also want to bring a white noise machine.

Some person I know absolutely love these scented candles. And especially if you are one of those people, you might wanting to bring your candle from home.. Another reason you might want to bring candles is if you are having a romantic getaway.

If you are going to a hotel all by yourself, you might want to consider bringing a journal. I’m constantly journaling myself, and like people say, journaling is a relaxing experience. Sometimes it just helps to get everything written out.
