Visit your ancestors

One of the things that is getting more and more popular these days is learning more about our ancestors. And especially now with the internet, we can learn all kinds of things about those who have gone before us. We don’t have to to rely on whatever Aunt Edna put together in a notebook thirty years ago, there are websites dedicated to this kind of research.

Most everyone is about those websites, but did you know that this is a new type of travel? People are curious to know how their relatives lived. What did the place they lived look like? Were they farmers, or did they do some kind of other work? What kinds of things did they eat? Some people long to travel to the place where their ancestors lived. And maybe part of that is that we’re missing real connection with our own families. We are so busy keeping up the standard of living everyone thinks they have to have that we aren’t making the time to really be with our families like we should.

This is a specialized type of travel that can get quite complicated to try to plan yourself. There are just a lot of details to put together. But thankfully, there are also some travel agents who have chosen this type of travel as their niche. And of course, these travel agents are going to have all kinds of knowledge and resources that will help you plan your perfect trip.

Please keep in mind that is a trip that you will be able to pull together quickly. You to have to do a lot of research to make sure you are taking the right trip.

Now I am a travel agent, but this is not my specialty. My passion is helping families reconnect through travel. Summer is going to be on us before we know it. Please let me know if I can help you plan a summer vacation. I would love to help you.
