More on religious tours

We are going to look at more religious tours today. Have you loved the stories of Acts, where Paul takes all of his missionary journeys? Have you ever dreamed of seeing where these exciting stories took place? Well, if that’s you, you should know that Homeric offers these tours as well. On this tour, you are going to be starting in Cyprus. You will be seeing different cathedrals as well as different places Paul went and preached. It sounds like you will be learning a lot of early church history. This tour itself is eight days.

There is another tour that will also focus on Paul’s life and work, but this is a a ten day tour which includes a four day cruise. On this trip, you will be starting in Athens. You will be touring this fine city, and you will also be seeing places like Corinth where Paul did so much of his ministry.

Traveling for faith

Personally I love the idea of taking trips to reconnect with family or dear friends. That is the majority of the trips my family and I take.. But yesterday we were talking some about history. Have you ever wanted to take a trip to see where Jesus or walked? Have you ever wanted to see where Paul took his journeys? More and more people are getting interested in taking these types of trips. Today we are going to look at some of what Homeric tours does.

One tour you can do with Homeric is a tour of the women of the bible. Your guide will be a woman, and you will be going to different places like Nazareth. You will also be touring baths and things like that.

With Homeric, you are also going to be able to follow in the footsteps. You are going to fly into Tel Aviv, and your first day looks like it is going to be a nice day of rest. Your first stop on the actual tour will be to see Caesarea. You will also be visiting Mt. Carmel and Nazareth. You will also be visiting places like Jerusalem, Samaria, Bethelhem, and Galilee.

Points of interest in Barbados

There is always something new to learn when you are a travel agent. I know I need to determine my niche and stay with that. I know I want to do family travel, but that is still too broad.. I’ll figure it out.

But anyway, let’s get to Barbados. Did you know that George Washington himself visited Barbados? I just learned that myself. This was before the great man became famous. He was actually just a lad of nineteen. He was in the area for two months. And the place he stayed is now called George Washington House. Washington was quite sick in this place and actually could have died. But he didn’t and the rest, as they say, is history.

Do you like going to old lighthouses? Barbados has one whose light is not rotating. Barbados has a total of lighthouses. You are also going to find a military cemetery in this place. Even before this place was used as an official cemetery, the people used to bury their dead in this swamp.

Barbados is big in the sugar trade. There is a museum here that will help explain their part in the industry. And yes, at the end of your tour, you will be able to sample the wares. I am going to stop here, but I would love to know what you think about this, or any questions you might have.

This and that

We are going to look at some different news stories today. And the first one we are going to look at involve human trafficking, and I guess more specifically sex trafficking. This is not a nice subject, and not one I like to address. But unfortunately most of the incidents happen in hotels. At this point, it is hard to tell how many hotels might be involved. But they do have an app which will allow you to send pictures of the different hotel rooms you stay in to the police, which will help them in their investigations. The app is called TraffickCam. You have to take four pictures of each hotel room you stay in and send that information on to the police.

I must confess  that I do not know much about the Brexit matter. But from what I’m reading this is not a done deal yet. As far as traveling goes, if you were to travel there this summer, you would likely find no real difference at all. Though if this does go through, you might see some lower prices when it comes to visiting Britain.

There is nothing worse than having bored kids on a trip. They tend to whine and complain about everything. Sometimes it feels like nothing you do pleases them. If they’re really young, sorry, but I’m not sure what to tell you. But as they get older having them help plan your trip can help them get more excited about every aspect of your trip.

Toronto Tourism wants to help you streamline this process. They have created a new website that will help you get your kids excited about your trip together. . The site is yo-toronto.com

The website has all kinds of information about what is available in this city. d it’s not just boring reading. There are videos to watch. And your kids will also find jokes.

And speaking of finding things, the website has games you and your children can play together. These include some different scavenger hunts your family can do together. You are going to find many different fun and exciting things to explore on this site. Be sure to check it out as a family today.

Things to do in Cancun

I’m spending some time with family, kind of doing a working vacation. I’m trying to make the most of the time I am able to work.

Today let’s talk about Cancun. I’ve heard that it’s an absolutely beautiful place, perfect for a nice vacation or a honeymoon. There are some incredibly beautiful beaches.

In fact, the first place we are going to look at a beach place. It is called Playa Delfine which is beautiful. Surfers and other people who love adventure are going to love the huge waves here. It is the perfect place to take pictures. And you will always have access to nice food and drink.

Cancun is also a great place to see dolphins. To do this you will want to go to Dolphin Discovery. This center has several programs that help you get to know the ways of the dolphins. You can actually ride them if you would like.

Cancun also has a lot of great nightlife. They have something for you, no matter what your interests are. You can dance the night away if you want, or enjoy nightclubs. Again, I would love to know your thoughts on this. I would especially like to know if you would like to go.

About Disney

The first thing you need to know is that, unless you don’t have another choice or are hopelessly addicted to crowds, you do not want to go to the Disney parks in summer, that is when everyone goes and it’s just a mess. If you do decide to go in summer, staying at one of the more Disney resorts is the only way to ensure that you will get in to the parks. Having your tickets already purchased will not guarantee that you get in. Please remember that.

Disney has a new “Frozen Ever After” ride opening up. There was an older ride that allowed your boat to tour something similar to Norway. However, I’m guessing that they decided that this was not Disney enough for them. So now your boat will take you through Arendale itself. However, do be warned that this is an extremely popular ride and it can take quite a while to get on.

The Hotel Libertador Lima

Today has been crazy, but I’m here and am going to get some work done now.

This is a hotel in Lima, Peru. This place only has about forty rooms, so this is a pretty exclusive place. The suites will have kitchens and dining rooms, and will have about a thousand square feet in each suite.

Here you are going to be about forty minutes from the airport, but only about a mile from the beach, so you will be able to enjoy the pleasures of the beach as often as you would like. The hotel does have restaurants, as well as room service.

There is free internet acces, whether you are in Lima for business or pleasure. There is a fitness center.. There are conference rooms to make your meetings easier and better for everyone. And you will have all kinds of food choices for your meeting as well. I would love to know your thoughts on this.

Healthier rooms to sleep in?

I have to say that I’m not a really health conscience person. When I think of health, I think of eating right… And everyone seems to have different idea as to what it actually means to eat right. Personally my favorite things to eat are, pizza, hamburgers, and sweets. I don’t eat only those things and do eat some vegetables most days… But anyway… Until today when I was reading the travel news, I had no idea there was a healthier way to sleep.

But at least according to Marriott, there is a healthier way to sleep.. These rooms do cost a little more, extra, about thirty dollars, but can you really put a price on your health? These rooms are going to have more natural lighting which helps with your sleep rhythm. It will also give you memory foam to sleep on, which is better because it doesn’t collect dust or small bugs as much as normal mattresses.

You will also be getting access to sleeping aids, as well as things to help you with jetlag. The showers are infused with Vitamin C.

Personally I can see where this might help the person that is allergic to everything. It might also be helpful to the person who is always traveling for travel. I would love to know your thoughts.

Places to go in NYC when it rains

You may have guessed, but I find New York City fascinating. Today let’s take a look at some things you can do when it rains.

• If you want to get a taste for the city in the old days, you will want to go to the Bowery Hotel. Here you will find a lot of lovely antiques. You can curl up with a good book by the fire. You can also get hot drinks to enjoy during your stay.
• You might also want to try The Jane. This hotel has a ballroom that has been turned into a very comfortable lounge. You will find nice antiques here as well, along with all kinds of interesting trinkets everywhere you turn.
• The Ludlow Hotel’s lounge is known as “The Living Room”. Yet again you are going to find antiques, and a huge fireplace where you can enjoy good books and fine drinks. This place also serves cocktail food, so if you’re hungry this would be the best place to go. This is one of Manhattan’s most popular restaurants these days.
