Some days I glance at the travel news and know exactly what I want to write about, and everything goes smoothly. I like those days. Other days, getting this written is hard, but I do figure it out. Today is the latter, but I think I’m on the right track now.
You’re getting married, and have so many decision to take as far as the wedding and your future life together. You decide that you do want to take a honeymoon, but you aren’t sure of anything more than that. Here are some things you are going to want to discuss with your future husband.
- I know that sometimes your parents decide to pay for your honeymoon trip. But whether someone else is paying for it or you’re paying for it yourselves, it is best to set some kind of budget.. Yes, hopefully this is a once in a lifetime trip, but you do not want to be paying for it the rest of your lives either.
- Discuss what you want to do on this trip… It’s usually wisest not to plan to do much except relax the first couple days. After that you’ll probably want to think about the things that brought you ogether in the first place. Do you like to take adventures together? Are you both foodies? Or maybe the two of you have a place that simply fascinates you.
- You are going to want to think through travel time. If you are wanting to go somewhere that is going to take twenty hous each way, and you only have a week of vacation time, you might want to reconsider.
- And please talk to a travel agent. This is a trip you’ll want to remember your whole life. Travel agents can help you get all those special little extras.
I would love to know your thoughts on this.
