Do we unplug?

I’ve had a crazy day. I was out this morning for a bible study. And then after doing going through my routine with my aide, I had a meeting about a new communication device. I’m really not sure this is going to happen at all, but if it does , I won’t make the switch for a good while now.. Anyway, I need to run through some work stuff if I am going to get anything done today.

I live in Georgia, and since the storm passed on Monday, the weather has been absolutely glorious. It is getting cooler, but the sun is always out. September is usually hot here, but it’s been nice this past week.. September is kind of the month that summer ends and everyone starts getting back to real life. Children are settling into school. Things are getting back into the normal routine at the office for parents.

It’s rare that anyone loses the internet. Hey, we’ve just went through the storm, and we lost power for a few minutes, but I don’t think I even lost internet. And I must say, I’m not a big fan of being without internet because there is so much I can do online.. We’re living in a time when we can check the news any time we want. And social media is becoming more and more addicting..

How much do we unplug, even when we are with our families on vacation? Is there a balance there? I would love to know your thoughts.
