Thanksgiving destinations

We are about six weeks away from Thanksgiving. And to be honest, I can hardly wait. I love Thanksgiving food, it is probably some of my favorite foods. But even more, I love being with my family. I love getting together, catching up with everyone and spending time together. I love being in someone’s home, being around my family as they do all of the cooking. But maybe you’re looking around, thinking that this has been a crazy hard year for everyone. Who among us can’t say that of 2020, I mean, seriously? Okay, let’s get started.

  • You and your family might want to go to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. You will find lots of nice hotels, and they also have some great cabins you can rent. Are you ready for snow at Thanksgiving? It might not be natural snow. But they do have some great skiing places where you can go play in the snow. They also have a lot of great country cooking restaurants.
  • Do you just want to get away from everything that resembles your normal life? Consider going to Hawaii? November is actually an excellent time to visit this beautiful state. Why? Many people don’t think about going to Hawaii at this time of year. So it is pretty quiet. There may even be a holiday parade. And you will find your traditional holiday dinner at many of the resorts.
