Spring break in Mexico

The holiday season is just about behind us. And I think that the next big vacation season would be spring break. Spring break usually comes sometime around March to early April. Today we are going to look at some great places you might want to check out for your spring break vacation.

  • Are you looking for a place where you can get some much needed rest? Do you want somewhere that few other people have yet to discover are? If you are looking for beautiful, quiet beaches where you and your family can just relax, you will want to check out Acapulco. There is a little something for everyone to do.
  • If you are looking for some great nightlife, you will want to try Puerto Vallarta. This is also a great place if you enjoy water sports. They have a lot of all inclusive resorts where all of your meals and everything else you might need is already covered. But unlike Acapulco, you should expect to see crowds here.
  • Playa Del Carmen is another great place to consider, especially if you are looking for nice all inclusive resorts. You will see a lot of bars and restaurants. Walk through their shops where you can browse and buy. This is another great place to enjoy water sports.

More interesting places

I am going to be honest. I am starting to get bored just reading. I started out thinking that I would just go through my e-mail. Then I decided to look at jobs to see if there was anything interesting. I haven’t seen any interesting jobs. Then I decided to go on and do the blogs. I’m just bored and don’t know what else to do. But anyway, let’s keep looking at some interesting places you and your family might want to go to on your next vacation.

  • Have you and your family been to any of the state fairs? You might get to take in a free concert or two. You might also get to enjoy a rodeo. And let’s not forget all of the junk food you will get to enjoy. They are sure to have corndogs, pretzels and funnel cakes.
  • Do you know. Miami has some of the best beaches as well as some incredible nightlife. This is also a great place to go to if you want to get a taste of the Caribbean without leaving the states. You might also want to go to check out the Everglades.
  • Do you want to go to Texas? This is one of largest States in our country. Trust me, I’ve driven across it several times. The Alamo is one of their most famous attractions.

More destinations

This is my last post for this year. I will be back the Monday after New Year’s. Well, let’s get back to some more destinations that you might want to consider going to.

  • Sometimes you aren’t going for a certain place, you just want to see a certain team play, and hopefully win. Maybe you grew up in a certain place and then moved away. Maybe your parents grew up somewhere and taught you to love this certain team. Whatever it is, you never miss a game. Go to that city and see what they have to offer.
  • Do you want to just go somewhere beautiful? You might want to try going to Colorado. You will be surrounded by the gorgeous Rockies. There are all kinds of places to go hiking and rock climbing. It is also a great place to go fishing. You may want to explore Old West history too.
  • Are you and your family all about some American history? Go visit New England.. You will have all kinds of things you will want to see in Boston.. Visit some of the small towns to get a feel for what old America was like.

More places

I think I am going to take to take Wednesday until the Monday after New Year’s Day off. I am feeling like I need to take some good to take time off. I need to relax some. I never take time off because I love what I do. But anyway, I need to take some time off to get off to get my writing groove back. Today let’s get back to some destinations in the States that you may be interested in.

  • Are you living in a place that is cold? Are you getting tired of all the cold and not being able to get outside? Go to Southern California. Enjoy some time at the beach. The beaches out there are absolutely beautiful out there. And you and your family enjoy going to Hollywood and exploring everything you can see there.
  • Are you wanting to get back to nature? You might want to go to Yellowstone. Did you know that this was our first National park? You will see all kinds of beautiful animals. There is also lots of beautiful landscapes.
  • Have you ever been to Niagara Falls. In older times, this is a place that a lot of couples would go to for their honeymoon. Take a cruise through the Falls. You might want to go see Canada while you are up there.
  • California not only has beautiful beaches, it also has some of the best vineyards. This is a great place for those who love wine. You can see the vineyards, and go to the tastings.

Places to go #1

I think I am going to work Monday and Tuesday next week, and then take some time off. I am not certain how much time I am going to take. We will see. Where would you go if you could go anywhere in the States? Some of us are thinking, “I would be happy to go anywhere.” I know that many of us are feeling pretty bored. Today let’s look at some ideas for you.

  • Do you and your family like music, and want to go see where it is made? The question is, what kind of music do you like most? Are you into the Blues and Jazz? You might want to go to New Orleans. They have many different things you can see while you are there. And I know they have some great places you can eat. Or maybe you and your family are more of into Country music? You may want to try Memphis or Nashville, or maybe both. You are going for sure to find some great barbecue. And I bet that they are going to have a lot of museums that have to do with music.
  • I know that a lot of people would like to get to the Big Apple. Okay, so maybe not right now, but one day. I think my personal favorite would be to get to go to see a show on Broadway. You can also see the Statue of Liberty. Where to eat? You decide. Many immigrants settled into the city, and what did they do? They is opened restaurants.

Planning that surprise trip #3

Let’s keep looking were at surprise trips, and how to plan it so that no one who goes on the trip will forget it.

  • How do you tell them about this special trip? Does your little group do things together, like maybe you have lunch together on a regular basis? Or maybe this trip is celebrating a birthday or something like that? It’s probably best to tell them a couple of weeks before you are to leave. Your friend will need to pack and all of that.
  • Now how are you going to tell them. You and your friends might want to make up a card. Or you might want to want to write her a letter.
  • And now, let’s talk about some things you should do on the actual trip. You are going to know your group of friends. You will know how much everyone likes to be together, and how much everyone needs to be by themselves.
  • Are you to eat out the whole time, or are you going to cook some? If you are planning to cook, is your guest of honor going to share in that?
  • Do you want to go somewhere and just hole up somewhere, playing games, watching your favorite movies, and catching up? Or do you want plan outings? Again, think about what the friend you are planning this trip for would enjoy most.

Plan a surprise trip #2

Being surprised with something special can be a whole lot of fun. But planning a surprise for someone care about can be even more fun. You are the one that is doing all of the planning. You are planning a fun little trip for you and some of your best friends. Let’s get back to the discussion we started yesterday.

  • Yesterday we talked through some ideas of what kind of destination you might want to go to. Another big question that you are going to have to think through is, what kind of place do you want to stay in? The least expensive options would be to stay in a friends’ home or to go camping? But what would this friend that you want to surprise prefer? Is she someone that likes to camp, or is she more of a resort type of person?
  • And this brings me to another important question. Who’s paying for this trip? Does everyone want to pay for their trip, and then chip in a little more for your guest of honor? Does her husband want to pay for her?
  • Planning a surprise trip where you go out of the country can be a lot of fun, though somewhat trickier? First, do you know if your friend has a passport? If not, you will need to be pretty sneaky to figure out how to get her to get one without letting on.

Plan a surprise trip

I have been catching up on things that I need to, looking at jobs, things like that. It would be so nice to find something I can actually do to make money and then start to figure out some things with the business. There is lots that I’m thinking through, but anyway…. Have you ever thought of planning a surprise trip for someone? Maybe you want to do something special for your husband’s birthday. Or maybe you want to do something nice for your best friend. Perhaps your friend has had an awful year. Of course, it is 2020, who haven’t had the were a rough year? Let’s look at some things you can do to plan a surprise trip for someone.

  • The hardest part of this job may be figuring out when you are going to be able to do this. Here are some ideas that might help. Are they in school? Find out when they are going to have breaks? Do they work? Is there any way that you can call their boss and arrange for a few days off? If they are a housewife, I’m guessing that your best bet would be to talk to the husband to find out what would work well for them.
  • And the second big question is where do you want to go? I’m guessing that you will want to go with them? Maybe you have a group of three or four close friends, and that little group does everything together. But back to where you are going to go. Is there a place where your friend has always wanted to go? Or maybe your little group a place they have always dreamed of going together.

Tulsa, Oklahoma

Have you always wanted to visit Tulsa, Oklahoma? Maybe you have friends or family that you want to visit there. Let’s look at some of the interest points that you might want to visit.

  • The first place we are going to look at is The Woody Guthrie Museum. Tulsa is big into country music. For those that don’t know, Mr. Guthrie is the one that wrote, “This Land Is Your Land”. He was also a true inspiration to Bob Dylan as well as other musicians. Or you might want to enjoy an evening at the symphony.
  • Not only will music lovers enjoy this city, so will art lovers. You will find a lot of Art Deco buildings here. You will also find some great galleries and museums to explore.
  • Families will want to go down to Tulsa’s Cherry Street. Saturday morning is the time you’ll want to do that because they have a farmers’ market in the warmer months.
  • You will also want to walk through their Oil Capitol Historic District. They have a zoo and an aquarium that you and your family might enjoy.

Williamsburg

I grew up moving around every five years. My dad wasn’t military, but he did work for the government. But my grandparents lived in Virginia, and we would go visit at least twice a year. All four of my grandparents lived in the same small town. I loved going, and that was mostly because my grandparents, and other relatives, used to spoil me. I would get whatever I wanted to eat, I loved visiting and catching up with everyone, or going on adventures with different ones of our relatives. I loved staying by myself with Mom’s parents, giving me hours on end to read or watch tv in quiet.. Okay, so why I am telling you all of this? Because today we are going to say at Williamsburg, and Williamsburg is one of the places we used to take adventures. Let’s take a look at some of the things you and your your family can do in this wonderful city.

  • One thing Williamsburg definitely has is history. In fact, coming here you are also going to be close to Jamestown and Yorktown. These cities are all part of our Colonial history, and it would be a shame not to see all three. In Williamsburg, you are going to find a small colonial village. Everyone who works there dresses the part, and their shops are set up just like they would have been in those times. You can also eat the foods that they would have eaten. You will also be able to listen to lectures all about their way of life back then.
  • You will also find two art museums that you might enjoy. These will be about history too. These will be more than just paintings. Look at their German toys, or enjoy their Navajo rugs, or the displays of furniture. Anyone interested in early America should see these museums.
  • After all of this history, your family might want some plain fun. Williamsburg has Busch Gardens. This was one of my favorite places to go as a little girl. And they still have their sections like little countries of Europe. I remember that. They have sections like Germany, France and Italy. I remember loving the food, but I was pretty young, and things could have changed a lot.
