Let’s look some more at Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas.

  • So what is there to do on board the Radiance? The ship’s crew are going to have a plethora of things people of each age group can enjoy were. That may be a towel folding class, trivia games, tastings, art auctions, and more. You will also be able to enjoy movies. The evenings are perfect for their Broadway-style plays.
  • Or is your idea of fun to go sit somewhere and drink and talk to people? They have several bars that are good for conversation. Other places are great if you want to dance the night away.
  • You can also enjoy drinks out under the stars. And then there are the pools. The outdoors pool has two hot tubs with it. There is another pool, it looks like this pool is inside, and it is opened to adults only.

Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas

I have a lot that I am trying to get done today. And my family has plans for later on today. I am looking into jobs and other stuff. Hopefully something is going to shake loose here. But anyway, today let’s look at Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas and some of what they have to offer their guests. First of all, this ship has thirteen decks, with twelve open to guests. This ship has a whole lot of glass so you can see the beautiful waters. It was built so that it could go to a lot of different places.

  • The first thing that we are going to look at is their staterooms. They have several categories that you can choose from. They have exterior rooms which means that you can probably look out on the water. They have interior rooms, and these are probably the least the least expensive. Most people are not in their rooms much anyway. And they also have five different suite types.
  • When you book your cruise, you will not only get your stateroom, but you will also get the meals that you will eat eat in the main dining rooms or buffets, some room service, theater shows and other entertainment, and children’s activities. You are not going to get into any of their specialty restaurants without paying. You will also not get free internet.
  • In the main dining rooms, you will be enjoying full menus and sit-down meals. Their buffet is going to give you a lot of options. And it looks like they only have a couple of other restaurants where you can eat without paying extra.

I have a lot of things that I would like to get done. So let’s go on and get started.

  • A lot of people these days absolutely love their coffee. Don’t worry. You aren’t going to have to go without on board this ship. They have an actual Starbucks where you will be able to enjoy all of your favorite drinks. They will also have the sandwiches and pastries for you.
  • Take advantage of the childcare that is available, and enjoy a date night with your husband at the comedy club. Here you are going to enjoy both a dinner and a show. You will have to pay extra to see this. But you will be enjoying dinner and drinks as well as the show.
  • They have a waterfront promenade. Here you will find a lot of shops and restaurants that you can enjoy. It sounds like this is a beautiful place to take a walk when the sun goes down. Take a stroll after you go to that comedy show.
  • So where can you eat when you are on this ship? Your choices are nearly endless. We’ve already talked about Onda which is an Italian restaurant. There will also be a Japanese restaurant. not You can also get Mexican food and French food. There is also a nice steakhouse where you can get all of your favorites.

More about the Norwegian Encore

I have been out a lot today. It was kind of nice to do something different. But I am ready to get my work done, so let’s get back to our discussion about the Norwegian Encore, and some more of what it has to offer its guests.

  • You are going to be sailing on the beautiful ocean, you will want to take some time to enjoy the views. Norwegian knows that you will want to do this. They have built an observation deck for you to do just that. It is a great place to meet your fellow guests. It is also a fantastic place to take your selfies.
  • Have you always dreamed of going to The Big Apple to see the shows on Broadway? You don’t have to go to New York, just go on a cruise. Some of Broadway’s hits are going to come to the ship. And usually you will not have to pay to get into the shows on cruises.
  • Not only does this have some great shows, they also have a great restaurant that will make you feel like you are in NYC. The restaurant is called Onda. And in this upscale restaurant, you are going to be enjoying Italian cuisine.

Norwegian’s Encore

We are going to look at Norwegian’s Encore and some of what it has to offer its guests. This ship made its debut in 2019, so I’m guessing that it is still going to feel fairly new. It has twenty decks, sixteen of which are available for. They have a crew of two thousand and are able to host four thousand guests.

  • Do you and your family love playing Mario Kart together? What if you could actually race around a track? Norwegian has put one of the longest tracks at sea on this ship. Part of the track will be out over the ocean. Race your family, or race the friends that you will meet on board the ship.
  • Norwegian also has laser tag on board this ship. Here you are going to be in the lost city of Atlantis. You will be fighting sea creatures. And this is one of largest open air laser tag options at sea.
  • I have a confession for you, I have never done anything with Virtual Reality. I don’t know what I’m talking about. But apparently, there is a great VR maze on this ship. And it is supposed to be better than a lot of VR stuff on land.
  • They have two water parks on this ship. One sounds like it’s for children, though it sounds like adults are able to play at this park too. They are going to have the tamer slides and things. The other water park is for those that want more of a thrill.

it is Monday, and I am ready to get some stuff done. Let’s get back to some more general travel tips. I keep hoping that by the beginning of summer a lot of people are going to be getting on their travel shoes, ready to travel once more. We will see what happens with all of that. Anyway, let’s get back to some more travel tips.

  • One of the first things you might want to do whenever you enter a new country is to go to the US Embassy. Go in there and just check in. They will be able to let you know of any threats you need to be especially aware of. Give them your contact information in case of any kind of disaster. They will be able to help you figure out what is the best thing to do.
  • Traveling with friends is always a lot of fun. Traveling by yourself can be fun too, you just have to know what you are doing. But either way, you are going to want to share your itinerary with someone you trust at home. The best way to do this is to e-mail your itinerary to them. And then make sure they get it.
  • However, as tempting as it may be to give everyone you know #fomo, you do not want to share your itinerary on Facebook. You never know who might be able to access your Facebook account. And don’t share things like where you are staying with someone you just met.

More travel tips

It is Saturday, and I am ready to be done. Let’s get back to some more travel tips.

  • Look up the state department’s advise on the places that you would like to travel. But you will want to keep in mind that is their job to tell you everything that could goes wrong. It doesn’t necessarily mean that everything will happen, especially not to you. Do you know anyone who has been to the place that you want to travel to lately? Ask them to give you their thoughts.
  • Always know where your valuables are. Keep things like your laptop and camera in a safe when you are not using them. Keep the money that you are using with you on your person at all times.
  • Most the time, the locals are going to be pretty helpful to you when you want to know if a certain place will be safe or how to get to certain places. The people who work the front desk of your hotel should also be a great resource. Taxi drivers can be hit or miss, so be more careful of them.

Travel tips

Today I think we are going to just look at some general travel tips. It is safe to travel pretty much anywhere, well, maybe not right now, but hopefully we are going to get to that place before too much longer.

The first thing that I want to say is that most people are going to be delighted to have you to visit their country. Most people are going to want to help you in any way that they can. But of course, there are also going to be people who will want to take advantage of you. It might be a good idea for you to look up common travel scams on the internet to get an idea of the kind of things that might happen.

If something awful does happen, you will want to have access to the numbers you are going to need to call. Write out that list, and put it in where you will keep your passport and other important papers, along with some money, of course. [And please, keep that little pouch on your person at all times.] Also write down an emergency plan and keep that with you too, either in that pouch or on your phone.

  • You are going to take your kids, but you will also want some downtime too, right? Don’t worry, Carnival has you covered. They will have an adults only section that has a nice pool you can relax in or beside. Go there to enjoy some adult conversation.
  • Your kids will be having fun of their own. Dr. Seuss is a big deal on Carnival ships. A lot of the family events and activities will be based on these beloved characters. They will also be hanging out at the kids’ clubs. And by they, I do mean both the characters and your kids.
  • Do you like games? This is a great place to teach your children the fine art of mini golf. They are going to also have Ping-Pong, corn hole and and an arcade.

Let’s keep looking some more at what Carnival’s Glory has to offer its guests.

  • Yesterday we ended with talking about some of their casual dining options. Today let’s start by looking at some of their nicer restaurants. Cruises are times where you can do what you want when you want. Why not take are some time one evening to get all dressed up for your husband and go to one of these nicer restaurants? Just a thought. They have a nice steakhouse where you can have a nice brunch. They also have a Chef’s Table, where it looks like you can watch people cook. And what they call the Dining Room is going to give you three courses.
  • And Carnival knows that sometimes you just want that sweet treat. They have ice cream shops that you can go to. Are you someone that loves coffee and wants to drink it all of time? They will have places where you can get coffee and pastries.
  • Of course, you can’t eat all of the time. Some of you might want to go to the gym and work off all that food. Or you might want to go so you can get hungry again. You are going to work out facing the ocean. They have floor to ceiling windows in this part of the ship. They also have nice equipment.
