It is Saturday, and I am ready to be done. Let’s get back to some more travel tips.
- Look up the state department’s advise on the places that you would like to travel. But you will want to keep in mind that is their job to tell you everything that could goes wrong. It doesn’t necessarily mean that everything will happen, especially not to you. Do you know anyone who has been to the place that you want to travel to lately? Ask them to give you their thoughts.
- Always know where your valuables are. Keep things like your laptop and camera in a safe when you are not using them. Keep the money that you are using with you on your person at all times.
- Most the time, the locals are going to be pretty helpful to you when you want to know if a certain place will be safe or how to get to certain places. The people who work the front desk of your hotel should also be a great resource. Taxi drivers can be hit or miss, so be more careful of them.
