Duck Commander cruise

I’m trying to make the most of this time that is very quiet here at home, trying to do some planning/strategizing for the business. Hopefully I am going to get a lot done and figure some things done.

If you don’t know this by now, I am a big proponent of the family. I am very pro life, very much an advocate of traditional marriage.. That’s how my whole family was raised. And so, the one reality show we’ve kept up with in any way is Duck Commander. We watched it when we had cable.

So when I heard on the radio this morning that the Robertson family was doing a cruise I was intrigued. They are going to be on the Carnival Victory this October.. And when I say they I mean Phil and Kay and some of their crew, along with Si, who will be telling stories as only he can.

Let me know if you are interested in doing something like this. I will be more than happy to help you out.

Best family programs on cruises

I am going on vacation for the first time in months the first part of June. And I’m so looking forward to it. We are going to see some dear friends. And hopefully taking a break is going to help get me more focused. I’m kind of doing what’s necessary.

Maybe you have been feeling like I am, kind of ready to get out of your day to day for a little while.. If you’ve thought about going on a cruise, but don’t know which ones might be good, here are some cruise lines who have gone over and above for families.

We are going to look at Royal Caribbean/Quantum of the Seas first. They have partnered up with Dreamworks characters. They do character dining you and your family can enjoy together. They have a wonderful children’s program where your children can have fun and learn about science. You will be able to enjoy carousel rides on board. They also have great teen clubs.

Carnival has what is known as a camp for kids. The camp programs last most of the day. There is also a night owl program so the adults can enjoy the night life.. Let me know if you are interested in either of these.

Carnival in New Orleans

I’m not sure whether to start this now or not. I had a super weekend, and I’m late getting started. Wish I knew a way to start earlier.. But anyway.

Carnival has short cruises out of New Orleans coming your way. They are going to be moving the Triumph from Galveston, Texas to New Orleans. Carnival’s Dream already claims New Orleans as its home year round, doing week-long cruises.

By the time the Triumph sets sail from New Orleans, it will have undergone major renovations . These renovations will include the burger eatery that was developed with Guy Fieri, along with a couple of new poolside bars. There will be a new Mexican restaurant as well. The ship will have more than five hundred staterooms and suites, which are usually hard to come by on short cruises.

Okay, so what are short cruise? There will be four- and five- day cruises to Mexico that will be available year-round. The four-day cruises will always leave on Thursdays, perfect for long weekend getaways, and they will simply be visiting Cozumel. The five-day cruise will visit Cozumel and Progreso. All this fun will start in 2016.

Let me know if these cruises sound interesting. I’ll be more than happy to help you book or answer any questions you may have.
