More cruise news

I have several things I would to do, but I do not have a lot of time today. I was out this morning and ended up not being able to get online. And tonight I have a meeting. So let’s get this done and look at some different cruise news.

A lot of cruiselines have dropped the dress code altogether. But apparently that’s not the case on Royal Caribbean. And, at least according to an unofficial blog, they have flip flopped on whether or not they will allow guests to wear shorts in their main dining room. Some guest like dressing up when they go to dinner. Dressing up gives dinner a more formal feel. If you do not like dressing up, you are welcome to eat somewhere else… Okay, that sounds a little snooty. I would love to know your thoughts.

Disney’s new river cruise “Once Upon a Rhine” has the story “Beauty and the Beast” as its theme. While you will not be able to see the brand new movie, they will be showing the beloved cartoon. You will be treated to a “Be our guest” dinner. You will be touring countrysides that were the inspirations for many of the cartoons.

What does a billionaire do when a son marries? Well, one reserved an entire cruise ship, and a luxury cruise ship at that. This was someone high up in India business, and the son and his actress bride were said to be high school sweethearts. Th guests had access to all of the amenities. And this article doesn’t say, but I’m guessing that most everything was paid for by the proud father himself.

I would love to know if you are interested in taking a cruise. Please let me know if I can help you plan one.

How Costa sets itself apart

Being in business for myself, I hear, “You must find ways to set yourself above your competition” and similar things all the time.. And for myself, I know I want to give families great service so that they will turn to me to book their travel. Hopefully they will also tell their friends about me as well… Costa is a cruiseline that wants to stand out from their competition. Let’s look at some ways they are doing that.

  • They are offering some of the most inexpensive cruise fares in Europe around. They are doing things like “kids sail free” and “on board credit”. They also have longer times in port. And you will be touring places like the Canary Islands and the Greek Isles.
  • Costa is an Italian line, and so they are going to have some of the world’s finest cuisine out there. A Michelin star chef designs their menus. Their main dining rooms are delicious, serving mostly Italian favorites. But they will also have specialty restaurants with Asian food as well as mozzerella bars and pizzerias. They also have a great selection of wines.
  • A lot of different cultures are represented on Costa cruises. So you never know who you might run into, which cultures you might get to explore simply by making new friends.
  • Costa has a great children’s program.. And let me say here that I don’t think many of the other premium brands does much with children. Costa program will keep the littles busy from morning until night. They will also have things for your teens to enjoy. enter.
  • I would love to know any questions you might have about Costa. Have you ever been on one of their cruises? Would you like to? Please let me know.

Costa’s Diadema

Costa is an Italian cruiseline, and the name “Diadema” means “tierra” in Italian. It’s named for its beauty. I’ve tried to get an actual picture of this ship, but that is not working.

This truly is a beautiful ship that has a lot of nice extra little features. But just because it is beautiful does not mean they compromise at all on comfort. The designer of this ship worked hard with some experts to make sure that you get the best of both worlds. You are going to see a lot of bright colors on this ship, which is an Italian thing.

This is a ship that is full of amenities. There is a casino on board, beautiful pools, and a huge theater. They have a kids’ club to entertain your children. They also have an excellent spa which offer a wide variety of treatments. You will never run out of treatment options on board this ship.

And because it is Italian run you are going to have some great options when it comes to food and wine. They are going to have a lot of Italy food for you to choose from, as well as some excellent Asian dishes. They will know how to pair your wines with everything that you order.

You are also going to get some very nice accommodations on board this ship. And of course, the nicer the amenities and level of service.. I would love to know what questions you have, or if you want my help planning a Costa vacation.

Luxury with Costa

First I have to comment on this picture. Isn’t it gorgeous? In this business, I get to look at a lot of beautiful pictures from all over the world. My sister went to Italy and I was looking at pictures with her, thinking that a lot of the places looked somewhat familiar… But anyway, I also know that cruise ships are always telling people how much room they give to their suite guests. To me, this looks pretty spacious.

Costa is introducing these new suites, and and with these new suites, guests are going to experience a new kind of luxury. When people stay in this class of suites, they are going to find that this is going to be pretty much an all-inclusive experience. You will be able to go to the club restaurant at no additional charge. You will be able to drink whatever you want whenever you want. And you will get special access to different events and such.

Costa is an Italian company and there is no mistaking that. And like most good Italians, they certainly know how to do food right. In this vein, they try to partner with some of Italy’s finest food companies. They have some of the best pastas, some of the highest quality coffees, and they’ll also have all the Nutella products. Please let me know if you are interested in taking a Costa cruise. I would love to help you plan your trip.

Costa for families

I am the oldest of eight siblings, and I think I’ve shared on here that most of our trips were to see families or friends. Bu there is a pretty big age gap between me and the youngest. It’s something like twenty-one years. And each of us have very different tastes in what we like to do.. Bringing a family on a vacation together can be challenging, and one of the more challenging groups to please is the teenagers. They’re the ones that are most likely going to complain if they don’t have phone service or wi-fi. They also hate had nothing to do.

Costa has things that will keep everyone in your family busy. For the adults, you can choose if you want to take Italian classes, or cooking classes. There is also a spa where you can have your choice of a lot of different treatments you can enjoy. And there are different shops you can enjoy when you get tired of laying out by the pool or enjoying all the fine food.

But what about the kids? Costa splits kids up, and the first age group is three to six. They will have programs all day long and are going to do a lot of arts and crafts. The next group, which is ages seven to eleven, will do much the same thing. In addition to arts and crafts, there will be volleyball, basketball, along with all kinds of fun in the pools. They split older kids up twelve to fourteen and then fifteen to seventeen. They will have a wide variety of things teenagers will enjoy doing. And they will be with their peers instead of with Mom and Dad all day, which likely works well for everyone. Teens will be able to do art. There are going to be parties for every age group too.. Let me know if you are interested.

More on cruises

It’s pretty usual for me to have a pretty good idea of everything I want to write about in a blog post. But today I’m not sure what all we may discuss. But let’s get started anyway, and we’ll see how this turns out.

Because it is National Cruise Month, we are going to be looking at cruise news.. First, in a recent Reader’s Digest survey, people chose Carnival as their most trusted cruise line. What exactly does that mean? It means that you trust Carnival to give I you great value on a quality and reliable vacation. Carnival was among the first to make cruising available to the average man or woman. Before this, cruising was only for the rich.

Some people love their holiday traditions and will not break them for any reason. Others, maybe especially after the death of a loved one, feel the need to change things up. If your family is looking to do something different this holiday season, you might want to look at planning a cruise for your holiday time together. Cruises always make the holidays exciting. Some will make every effort to make you feel like you’re at home. Others you can forego all the traditions you want.

To celebrate National Cruise Month, a group called Costa is having a sale. You can get a lot of onboard credit. They are having reduced deposits as well. Please let me know if you are interested in any of this.
