Norwegian and families

It’s Monday, and there are so many things I want to accomplish. I really do believe, and hope, that writing articles and sending them out is going to be a great way for me to get the word out about my business. And, to that end, I’m looking into taking some writing classes online.. There is also always more to learn about the travel industry. And then everything I’m doing is an effort to try to get some bookings. There’s just a lot I want to do.

Today let’s look at some of the things Norwegian Cruise Line has to offer families. Norwegian works great whether your family is just you, your husband and kids, or if you’re looking for a vacation for your parents, all your siblings and their families, and maybe some friends in for good measure.

To start with, Norwegian has something for every age group of youngsters. They call the first group Guppies, and that is for babies six months through three years. Most of their ships have this group set up as Mommy and baby playtime, but one ship in their fleet is starting to charge for babysitting this group. Their Splash Academy is for kids age three to twelve. This is a complementary program. Here they are going to be able to enjoy sports, creative play and more. They can also enjoy parties and other cool things at night. They do charge when you want to leave the kids so that you and your husband can enjoy an evening date.

dance parties and all kinds of fun things. Best of all, they are going to be with their peers, instead of with their parents. I’m not sure who will be happier about that..

And we’re just getting started on. I’m kind of going through Norwegian’s training. So we may be rtalking about Norwegian for at least a couple of days. Please let I know if you are interested in cruising with Norwegian. I would love to help you plan a trip.

It is Friday, and part of me just wants to get through the things I have to do done. And so, of course, my internet is giving me problems. I’m trying to figure that out. I think I am going to be able to do this, so let’s get started for today..

we are going to look more at Avalon Waterways… On these ships you are goingTo have access to a well stocked… Avalon uses local guides. Local guides are going to know more, and take smaller groups. They are also going to know a lot more about the specific area you are visiting.

Avalon does do specialty tours, including beer tours, wine tours, food tours, golf tours, Jewish heritage tours all kinds of things. And on these specialty tours you are going to get everything you would get on a regular cruise, plus all the specialty stuff.

I think I am going to stop here. I would love to know your thoughts on all this. If any questions about Avalon, I would be more than happy to help answer them. And of course I would love to help you book one of these cruises. Please just let me know.

I think everyone knows by now that I have changed host agencies. Host agencies are basically the umbrella company that home based agents work through. So far I have nothing but praise for these people. There is so much I want to be doing these days. I am going to go through some of their destination training and blog about it as a way to kind of kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

Today we are going to be looking at Avalon Waterways. This is a river cruise company, and one of the things that sets them a part is their accommodations. They have some of the largest cabins and balconies in the industry. 75% of their ships are all suite ships. And on these ships, their smallest suite are about 170 square feet. They pride themselves on having the most space everywhere on their ships. Even their bathrooms are big.

Each room is going to have a stocked refrigerator. The maids will come and restock your refrigerator each morning, so you should have no worries about that. They have some upscale hair and beauty products for you to use at no additional charge. Most river cruising is done in Europe, and with Avalon, your morning excursion is included in the price. Please let me know if you are interested in taking a river cruise. We are going to get back to this tomorrow.

Staying healthy on a cruise

The last of our family left very early this morning. It’s kind of sad to think that all of the festivities are over. But maybe now I will get more serious about work. I know I need to sit down and think through a lot of things. But of course I want to get this done for the day.

Cruises are sometimes known as places people are more likely to get sick. It seems like every time an epidemic breaks out on a cruise ship, it’s all over the news. And who wants to get sick when you are on vacation? Here are some things you can do to try to prevent getting sick on a cruise.

The first thing you need to remember is to wash your hands thoroughly and often. A lot of ships have hand sanitizer in a lot of different places. If you are bringing your children on the cruise, try making this into a game, seeing how many times the kids wash and sanitize their hands each day.

Even if you did buy the unlimited soda package, you will want to drink plenty of water as well. Water is what truly keeps you hydrated. It is best to drink bottled water, and on most ships bottled water is complementary.

We are going to get back to this tomorrow.. I would love to know your thoughts on all this.

The most luxurious ship ever built?

Yes, I know I missed yesterday, I’m once again having problems with my communication device. having one problems after another is getting so frustrating. But anyway, I have a lot I want to try to do today, so let’s get started.

Regent Cruise Lines is building what they call, “the most luxurious ship ever built”, so let’s look at that today. For starters, the only accommodations on board are suites. The ship will also be among the most spacious in the industry. One type of these suites will contain your own personal spa, and a glass enclosed sitting area. You might also like to know that this is going to be among the most all-inclusives in the market.

You are going to have to make reservations if you want to eat at their steakhouse, which is only opened for dinner. However, your meal comes at no additional charge to you. This is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner. There is a main dining room which serves all three meals, or you can get breakfast and lunch buffets in a glass enclosed room., which will transform into a nice Italian restaurant at night.

I am going to stop here for now and may get back to this tomorrow… I would love to know your thoughts.

It is Friday, and I’m not sure what to do, where to start on the different projects I’m feeling like I need to do.. I have some different trainings I want to go through. I feel like I need to give my e-mail boxes a thorough going through. I check e-mail each day, answering the things that need to be answered, but I put things that I think will take a while off. Might wait until Monday, but feel like I keep putting everything off. And I don’t like that about myself. But whatever I decide to do, this needs to be done. So here goes.

In exactly one month, I have some clients, well, actually they’re my family, going on a Carnival cruise. This will only be my second trip I’ve book. I’m nervous and excited all at once. So today I’ve decided to do some training with Carnival. This class is going to be about first time cruisers, which my family members are not. But maybe you are, so I might be talking directly to you. Perhaps you are at the point where you know you want to take a vacation, but you are not sure what you want to do or what you want to do. First, if that is where you are, please e-mail me. I would love to help you through the decision-making process. I do a lot of research on trips and have lots of resources to help you plan the perfect trip. I would love more business.. But anyway.. Should you go on a cruise? Are you going to feel confined on a cruise ship? Is there going to be enough for your kids to do? Will I be bored on a cruise? First of all you are going to have a lot to do on the ship. And second, ships usually stop at a lot of different ports, allowing you to explore different islands. So cruises are anything but boring. And nowadays, no one tells you what to do on your vacation. And if you are going on a cruise for your honeymoon, don’t worry, you can be alone as much as you want..

I think I am going to stop for today… Please let me know if you want my help planning a trip.
